Where city officials bring the power of local voices to the state capital with the message to let us make local choices.
Every year during session, city officials from across the state come together in Tallahassee for Legislative Action Days. This is a valuable opportunity for members to get to know their legislators and to view the legislature at work first-hand.
Registration is open for 2020 Legislative Action Days on February 11-12. The registration fee is $50 and the registration deadline was January 27. Click here to view announcement.
The room block at the Doubletree is SOLD OUT. Click here to view a list of alternative hotels in the area.
Attendees are briefed on what the legislative session holds for municipalities, and have a chance to meet with their legislators one-on-one to let them know what issues are important to their communities and share the real-world implications of proposed legislation.
The 2019 Legislative Action Days were held March 26-27 in Tallahassee. Events were hosted at the Florida League of Cities Office Building, the Tallahassee City Chambers, the Capitol building, and the DoubleTree Hotel by Hilton.
