HB 1275 (Berfield) and SB 1506 (DiCeglie) require the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) to develop a Strategic Infrastructure Investment Plan to address freight mobility infrastructure. The bills require FDOT to consult with relevant stakeholders including county and municipal governments. Beginning July 1, 2025, the department is required to distribute $150 million to the State Transportation Trust Fund to fund the projects identified in the Strategic Infrastructure Investment Plan.
