Legislative Conference

The League’s Legislative Conference is held each Fall. The 58th Annual Florida League of Cities Legislative Conference will be held November 15-16, 2018 at the Embassy Suites Orlando - Lake Buena Vista South. 

Please Note: The room block at the Embassy Suites is sold out. Click here to view a list of nearby hotels. Be sure to check with Embassy Suites before you book elsewhere in the event there have been cancellations. 

The registration fee for this conference is $250 per person. This fee covers admission to all conference sessions, continental breakfasts, refreshment breaks and Thursday’s luncheon and networking event. No official activities are scheduled for guests or spouses. An at-a-glance agenda is below. Additional workshop details will be added as they become available.

Please Note: Cancellations must be received and confirmed in writing by 5:00 p.m., Friday, November 2 to receive a refund of registration fees. Refunds will not be issued until after the conference. No refunds will be issued for early departure. Note: An administrative fee of $25.00 will be deducted from all refunds.

Past Conference Information 
The 2017 Legislative Conference was held on December 6-8, at the Embassy Suites Orlando Lake Buena Vista South. Usually, the League’s Legislative Policy Statements are approved by the membership during this meeting. The policy statements, the work product of the League’s five legislative policy committees, directs the League’s lobbying efforts for the upcoming Florida legislative session. (Due to session starting early in 2018, the League's 2018 Action Agenda was adopted during Annual Conference in August 2017.)
